LAMP OIL:

The use of Low Volatility and Low Ignition 140 Degree C High Flash Point Lamp Oil from “Virgo Trading” is recommended.

This oil has added Citronella oil to keep mosquitoes and other insects at bay.

Screw on holders: adjust through side hole with small screwdriver

LIGHTING UP:

Lighting up is achieved with a long lighter or match.

BURN TIME:

140ml canister up to 16 hours

300ml canister up to 36 hours

500ml canister up to 60 hours

Figures achieved using Virago Lamp Oil which burns up to 4 times as long as regular illuminating paraffin.

CLEAR ACRYLIC TUBE INSERT:

Some lanterns use glass lenses (L8 & L9) but most now have an acrylic tube. This is a more durable solution.
